Welcome to the Independence Farmers Market

Nestled in the heart of historic Independence, Kentucky, the Independence Farmers Market is a vibrant producer-only marketplace that connects local farmers, artisans, and families with the freshest seasonal goods Northern Kentucky has to offer. Since 2008, this beloved community gathering spot has grown from its humble beginnings as the SK Farmers Market into a cornerstone of local agriculture and small business support.

In 2025, the market moved into its beautiful new permanent pavilion on the grounds of the Historic Kenton County Courthouse at 5272 Madison Pike. Funded by a public-private partnership including the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board, the Durr Foundation, and Kenton County, the $750,000 pavilion features weather protection, vendor storage, restrooms, and space for expanded events — including potential winter markets.
